Objectives
a) Know relevant publications and author editions, specifically in the field of photography.
b) Introducing author's books to students, namely striking photobooks from a historical perspective, to allow them to develop a critical sense that enables them to produce their own editions in an informed manner.
c) Experiment with editing and sequencing images, with a view to producing their own works.
d) Produce and disseminate an original author edition in the form of a model, which is part of their portfolio as authors/photographers.

Program
1) The concept of author's book/artist's book and photobook in the history of art. Critical analysis of relevant cases for their definition and historical inscription.
2) The production and critical selection of images in the context of adaptation to the book concept.
3) The editing, sequencing, layout and finishing of the book.
4) The production and presentation/critical discussion of models aimed at publishing and disseminating the books produced.

Evaluation Methodology
Research work (30%), production of a model (60%), attendance and participation in class (10%).
Students who have not attended 2/3 of the classes, participating in them and agreeing with the teacher on the theme of the work to be presented, will be excluded from the exam.
Exam - Reformulated research work (30%) and delivery of the reformulated practical work/model (70%), both subject to prior agreement on the themes with the teacher.
