Objectives
Understand the characteristics, performance and influence of equipment, raw materials and subsidiaries, in the graphic production flowchart to guarantee the contractual quality of graphic works. Acquisition of skills in quality control applied to graphic production.
Program
1 - Printing Processes - Printing equipment and media qualities and
specific features. Raw materials used.
2 - Characterization and quality control of raw materials; Analysis of structural and colorimetric properties of inks and printing supports; Properties that influence the print or printed product.
3 - Implementation of ISO 12647; Quality control applied at all stages of the production process and in particular in Pre-Printing, Printing and Post-Printing.
Evaluation Methodology
Continuous evaluation
Theoretical, individual/group work with presentation and defense 40%
Continuous assessment of individual and group exercises 45%
Report of exercises performed in practical classes 10%
Participation 5%
To be assessed, students are required to attend at least two thirds of the practical classes, and it is mandatory to carry out the scheduled work as well as present and defend them.
Students with an assessment equal to or greater than 10 points are exempt from the exam.

Written test 40%

Report of exercises performed in practical classes 10%
Participation 5%
Final classification (at any assessment period)
The student obtains approval with a grade equal to or greater than 10.
