Prerequisites
Students must comply with the internal rules of the host company/organisation and have a proactive, resilient attitude.
Objectives
A. Apply and integrate on-the-job skills acquired throughout the course;
B. Develop practices that complement and consolidate the knowledge acquired;
C. Write a final report consisting of a critical reflection of the work done throughout the semester.
Program
1. Students follow an individual training plan that sets out the tasks to be completed in an on-the-job context such as activities, processes and/or projects which the host company/organisation is involved with.
2. Specific learning resulting from daily work routine.
Evaluation Methodology
Assessment is governed by the provisions of IPT Internship Regulations:
Company/organisation assessment - 20%
Report presentation and defence - 30%
Final report - 50%

Teaching Method
1. Internship are monitored by an appointed supervisor of the host company/organisation.
2. Weekly reports must be sent to the academic tutor (professor in charge);
3. Students draw up a final report that is analysed by a panel of faculty members
