Students should be able to:
- Communicate on a daily basis and at the workplace using adequate voabulary;
- Mastering the necessary grammatical aspects that allow this same communication.

1. The English language in daily life communication and in the workplace context;
1.1Introducing oneself and others and receiving others at work;
1.2. Writing formal and semi formal electronic messages/ letters;
2. The world of work;
2.1. Work and motivation;
2.2. Dealing with complaints;
2.3. Office material;
3. Specific terminology;
3.1. Curriculum Vitae;
3.2. Cover letter;
3.3. Interview;
Grammar
1. Articles and pronouns;
2. verb tenses;
3. Passive Voice;
4.Prepositions;
5. Adjectives and adverbs.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous Assessment:
Research assignment (written 10% and oral 10%) - 20%;
Continuous assessment, including exercises and class participation (written and oral) and attendance - 20%;
Written Test - 60%
Exam:
Written Exam - 70%
Research Assignment (written 15% and oral 15%) - 30%
