Objectives
Provide students with language tools that allow them to communicate in Portuguese.
Provide students with basic knowledge about European culture and demonstrate the specificities of European identity and thought.
In conjunction with Erasmus Mundus partners, the collaborative project, through study visits, will provide students with basic knowledge to understand the differences between partners.
Program
1 - Introduction to Portuguese language:
Syntax nodes: the physical structure; Names and adjectives; variable and invariable demonstrative pronouns; adverbs of place; time; pronouns; Nodes of antonímy and synomy; Elaboration of texts: Reading and interpretation; sintactic relationships; Vocabulary enrichment;
Regular verbs of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd declines; more current irregular verbs.
2 - Introduction to European culture:
The different languages, religions, philosophy and symbols of Europe; General aspects of culture and life in Europe.
3 - Interdisciplinarity and Interculturality:
Comparison with the previous experience performed in France; preparation of part of the consortium's overall project.
Evaluation Methodology
The evaluation consists of continuous work/final reports, referring to each of the uc components.
Minimum score for exam and pass waiver is 10 values, defined by the average evaluation of each of the UC components.
The exam will also consist of a work, which includes the 3 components of the UC, and whose minimum value for approval is 10 values.
