Program
1. Printed publications vs. digital publications
2. Digital publications overview
3. What is an ebook
4. Main formats
5. Main categories: eBook apps and readers
6. Processes of adaptation of printed content, representation of ideas/proposals
7. Creation of interactive documents (Adobe InDesign: Ai)
8. Creation of EPUB docs (AiD)

Evaluation Methodology
Ongoing and exam-based assessment: presentation and defence of a digital book project
Ebook project (sketching, model/prototype design - 90%; presentation and defence - 10%).
Final mark will be awarded by the two instructors of the module. The component or area taught by each of them contributes 50% towards the final mark.
The wording of each assignment or task explains the items that will be subject to assessment.
