Objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
1)Understand the importance of security for the quality of the tourist offer;
2) Know the main themes and best practices with regard to safety and accessibility in tourism;

Program
1. Introduction to tourism security;
2. The relationship between security and economy;
3. Security in tourist facilities;
4. Tourism and terrorism / Violence and crime
5. Risk and Fear;
6. Accessibility in tourism;
6.1. Accessible and Inclusive Tourism;
6.2. Customers/tourists with different types of limitations;
6.3. Customers/tourists with limitations due to aging;
6.4. Customers/tourists with limitations arising from other situations.

Evaluation Methodology
Frequency Assessment
Individual knowledge assessment test –50%
(In the written assessment test, the student will have to obtain a minimum grade of 8 points)
Practical work presented in class –50%


Exam assessment
Written exam – 100%.
