Objectives
Students must acquire abilities of design, simulation and optimization of operating conditions of heterogeneous catalytic reactors.
Program
1- Introduction
2 - Catalysis - catalysers; transport phenomena and chemical reaction in catalysers.
3- Catalytic reactors. Characterization and modelling of packed bed reactors.
Evaluation Methodology
Written essay - 35%, taks about heterogeneous catalysis - 30% and task about fixed-bed reactors - 35%.
