Objectives
Students should be able to:
- Recognize the importance of local and regional tourist policy in the management of tourist destinations;
- Recognize the importance of tourism for the reduction of economic inequalities between regions;
- To know theories of regional development;
- Recognize the importance of European regional policy and its implications for tourism;
- Recognize the relationships of economic activities that can be generated within a region;
- Understand the interrelations between tourism, territorial differentiation and competitiveness.

Evaluation Methodology
1.1. Continuous evaluation:

1.1. Continuous assessment tests - equivalent to 40% of the final grade;

1.2. Work # 1 (group) - is equivalent to 40% of the final grade;

1.3. Paper # 2 (individual) - Worksheets to be prepared in each class - equivalent to 20% of the final grade.

2. Examination period:

2.1. The classification in the exam and written appeal is equivalent to 100% of the grade.
