Objectives
Students should be able to identify the period in which a building was erected, understand its cultural importance, recognise its construction system, its structural system, the lack of comfort conditions and the nomenclature of the different construction elements.

Description of construction systems, structural systems (operation and evolution), comfort conditions (thermal, natural light and noise) and nomenclature of building elements
Recommendations on how best to intervene to ensure the best conditions of habitability and security against possible earthquakes (horizontal actions).
