A. Identify the formal points of intersection and division between fiction and non-fiction in cinema
B. Understand the taxonomic criteria applied to documentary cinema
C. Be familiar with the filmmaking formulas associated with documentary genres

3. Taxonomy of film genres: proposals and debate
4. Documentary genres: categories and conventions
5. Filmmaking formulas in documentary cinema
6. Filmmaking exercises: ethnographic film, scientific film, biographic film, institutional film
Evaluation Methodology
Continuous evaluation
Production of 2 film exercises with a minimum duration of 5 minutes
Each exercise should focus on one genre
Theoretical review of each exercise
Presentation of each exercise in class according to assessment dates
Exam and Appeal evaluation
