Objectives
Provide the trainees with knowledge concerning the ability to:
Communicate during stress, conflict and emergency situations, with the media and the general public;
Raise awareness among the general public and the media of risks, preventive and self-protective behaviour.
Program
Introduction, concepts and principles associated with communication in disaster and emergency situations
Communication aspects (theory - communication strategies); current communication models (communications, briefing etc.).
Information research (accompaniment of publications, in social networks and in the social communication); forms of relationship with the population in general.
Evaluation Methodology
The continuous evaluation can be done through written test or work (to be developed, presented and
discussed in class). The evaluation covers all the material taught during, and corresponds to 100% of the evaluation. Minimum grade of (10) ten.
Non-continuous assessment is made by examination, work or individual test (theoretical-practical test, individual, written), which addresses the theoretical and practical components. It corresponds to 100% of the assessment. Minimum score of (10) ten points.
