Objectives
This Course Unit provides contact with a variety of a) health information systems and b) online health services that allow students to perform better in terms of health management. It is also intended that students know how to c) implement basic security principles to protect information and know the associated legislation. The Curricular Unit also provides the presentation of of Statistical Methods, using whenever possible real data and giving particular relevance to the interpretation of outputs obtained with software, so that students acquire and consolidate knowledge at the level of: d) Exploratory Data Analysis, so that it can be used in the development and preparation of projects; e) Statistical Inference, which allow the development of capacities to conceive solutions, under conditions of uncertainty, for several problems that occur in Health Management.

Evaluation Methodology
Work on information systems (35%), and a written test (65%) with the subject of statistical methods (classified from 0 to 20). Students are approved to the course unit if the final classification, rounded to the units, is equal to or higher than 10 values.

Students who did not pass approval in the normal season can take the exam - written test with all the subjects taught in the course (classified from 0 to 20).
