Objectives
The student must develop the following skills:
plan, implement, execute and control the efficient and effective direct and inverse flow and storage operations for goods, services and related information between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements / needs of clinical services .
Know the logistical activities in health, namely sourcing and procurement activities, production planning and scheduling, packaging, inbound and outbound management in terms of transport, fleet management, storage management, materials management and handling, order response management, logistics network design, inventory management, supply and demand planning and management of logistics service providers.

Teaching Method
The theoretical contents of the UC will be exposed through illustrated classes, whenever possible, with practical cases.
Students will be motivated to apply the skills acquired through practical activities, analysis and discussion of Case Studies
