Objectives
Students should be able to: a) Master basic economic concepts, theories and policies as well as on the behaviour of economic players; b) Identify, analyse and solve macroeconomic problems; c) Be able to apply calculation techniques.

Evaluation Methodology
The students may choose between: a) Continuous assessment: 3 midterm tests with weighted average of 20%, 30% and 40% + class participation (10%). Minimum pass mark:10/20. b) Final exam: minimum mark.
