Objectives
I. To problematize the concept of documentary and its manifestations in modern and contemporary cinema.
II. To know the decisive moments of the history of documentary cinema in Portugal.
III. To train for the analysis of the participatory, reflexive and performative modes of the documentary.

10. Current documentary in Portugal: fragmentation, cosmopolitanism and hybridization.
11. Contemporary declinations of documentary: radicalization of documentary modes.
12. Contemporary declinations of documentary: fictions of the real vs. cinema of the real.
Evaluation Methodology
Midterm assessment:
