B. Relating construction, function and effect of the documentary film;
C. Combining the filmic expression to its "proof": truth, emotion, ethics;
D. Adopt filmic construction strategies about the world, the people, and the ideas.

1. Definition of film content from the combination of their functions
1.1. Principals of historic function
1.2. Principles of persuasive function
1.3. Principles of analytic function
1.4. Principles of expressive function
2. Context and operational functions of the documentary film
2.1. Integration of Documentary film in each historical period of the 20th century
2.2. The relationship between a Poetics of Documentary and its historical evolution
2.3. Correlation of functions as an analysis grid of documentary film
3. Integration of formal features in the definition of filmic content
3.1. The interview / statement and its validity
3.2. The representation of space and the actions contained therein
3.3. The narrative as dramatic and / or expository element
3.4. Self-representation and performativity
4. Production of four exercises with predominance in each of the studied functions
