Objectives
Acquire skills required to implement and enforce a pre-conservation of the remains from archaeological sources and built heritage, for future heritage preservation and restoration. Recognize the methodologies to be applied and the recovery techniques of organic and inorganic materials.

1.Preservation, conservation, restoration. Definitions/History/Ethical principles.
2&3.Organic & Inorganic Materials. Definition/Composition/Types/Analysis.
4.Degradation and preservation processes of organic and inorganic materials.Principal alteration factors: intrinsic and extrinsic.
5.Housing metodologies.
6.Stabilization methods and conservation treatments.
Evaluation Methodology
Assigned written work.
Minimum pass mark is 9,5/20.
