Objectives
The aim of this syllabus is to teach the historical and cultural context of Western art, from ancient times to the present day and to provide the various interpretations of the artistic phenomenon across time with emphasis on image observation and interart analysis.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous Assessment: Minimum attendance of 2/3 of classes is required; 2 written tests.minimum mark of 7,5/20 in each component with passing mark of 10/20.
Final examination: approved with 10
