Objectives
          Use images obtained by remote sensing, especially digital multi-spectral images, for both for visual interpretation and for computer-assisted classification to produce thematic land cover maps and to do land cover change analysis.
Program
          1. Concepts and fundamentals of remote sensing; 2. Image interpretation; 3. Digital image processing - Image restoration and correction; Image enhancement; Image classification; Procedures for change detection; 6. Case studies. Applications over Idrisi Taiga software. Exploration of other software.
