Objectives
Understand the fundamental concepts of Tribology, including the science of surfaces, wear, solids interaction, lubrication, lubricants and lubrication regimes.
Knowledge of the surface treatments, their stages and goals.

Evaluation Methodology
The assessment is carried out as follows:
All the exams periods will have a written test (50%) and practical work (50%).
Both parts are mandatory.

Teaching Method
The lecturing will be carried out through theoretical-practical lessons. The student will be introduced to each subject through the exposition of each topic, followed by practical examples to consolidate the concepts and the
resolution of exercises.
