Prerequisites
Basics of chemistry, materials and general examination and analysis methods.

Objectives
Be familiar with the main scientific approaches to the problems arising from the study of cultural heritage and develop skills that will allow students to select the most appropriate analytical strategy to solve a material problem and interpret the results.

Evaluation Methodology
Mini-tests related to papers discussed in class (50 %) and written mid-term test or exam (50 %).
