Objectives
On completion of this module the students should understand the concepts and procedures related with property management and recognise the technologies for analysing and managing heritage information.
Program
1. Concept of heritage: origins and evolution 2. International charts and conventions. Portuguese legislation. 3. International and national bodies in charge of heritage management and conservation 4. Heritage management 5. An introduction to information and heritage management 6. Implementation of databases.
Evaluation Methodology
Two theoretical tests during the semester (20% of final mark) or final exam (40% of final mark. One practical project (60% of final mark).
