Prerequisites
Knowledge of Journalistic Genres.

Objectives
Theoretical/practical lectures aim to provide the student with a number of concepts/realities that are specific of the radio environment.
They should gain enough practical skills to be able to perform the daily routine of a radio station such as animation and editorial tasks.

Program
Module A - Framework; Radio particularities; Radio Discourse; Journalistic genres for radio broadcasting.
Module B - History of radio technology; Radio technologies; Radio Laboratory.

Evaluation Methodology
Module A - Written test.
Modulo B - Class attendance and participation (40%) and Practical coursework (60%)
Final mark is calculated as a proportion of the workload of each module (2/5) and implies a minimum mark of 10 in each module.

Teaching Method
Lectures using powerpoint resources and analysis of audio supports. Production and edition of journalistic radio contents.
