Objectives
Identify the various journalism genres.Recognize and distinguish the characteristics and objectives of
each genre. Apply the theoretical knowledge to
the analysis of press articles as well as to the production of
journalistic texts, developing different techniques.

Program
News/articles; Interview; Reportage; Opinion; Other Genres; Image Media; Great Reportages.

Evaluation Methodology
Mid-term exam (60%). Assignments (40%). Minimum pass mark:
10 grade points (average of the mid-term exam and the
assignments).
Final exam (100%).
