Objectives
1.Provide the students with a comprehensive overview of the various forms of the artistic expression of humanity, from Prehistory until the end of the Western Roman Empire.
2.Equip the students with the necessary information to be able to identify the various art movements and styles.

1.Introduction to the Art History
2.Prehistoric Arts
3.Arts of the Oriental Antiquity(Egyptian and Mesopotamian)
4.Arts of the Classical Antiquity(Greek, Roman, Paleochristian and Byzantine)
5.Pre-romanic arts (Visigothic and Islamic)
Evaluation Methodology
A written test for the students attending at least 50% of the classes: those who obtain a minimum score of 10 (out of 20) will be exempt from taking the exam. The remaining students will take a final written exam similar to the test mentioned above.
