Objectives
Students will familiarise themselves with the methods and techniques used in geo-archaeological analysis of archaeological contexts.
Program
Environmental and stratigraphical contexts. Sedimentary deposits: fluvial, lacustrine, cave fillings, etc. Paedogenesis alteration. Introduction to Geo-archaeology. Analysis methods in Earth science applied to archaeological sites.
