Objectives
a) Understands the notion of multimedia, creative industries, free software, influence, implementation, interface;
b) Allows a reflection on potentialities and constraints of multimedia use;
c) Exploits different software tools for criation of concrete products, within the framework of creative industries
project;
d) Access various solutions available on the market, in articulation with the organization needs and user
profiles;
e) Deploys knowledge from other course units in the implementation of concrete solutions;
f) Gives practical meaning to the concept of comunity related with the development of multimedia products.

Teaching Method
The initial contents of syllabus will be presented by means of theoretical classes. The exploitation of the
software tools will be conducted on practical classes in the computer room. Students are expected to have built
a specific multimedia product by the end of the unit. Various evaluation moments will be spread throughout the
unit, corresponding to exercises in class environment and reports on the conducted activities.
