Objectives
To provide insight on Matrix Algebra, placing special emphasis on the discussion and resolution of systems of linear equations in vector spaces, determinants and eigenvalues and eigenvectors.
Program
1. Matrices and systems of linear equations;
2. Vector spaces;
3. Determinants;
4. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors of square matrices.
Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment: two written tests.
Exam assessment: one summative written test.
