Prerequisites
French language skills: intermediate level A2/B1

Objectives
Sensitise the students to French and French-speaking civilisation and culture
- Acquire/improve language skills
- Acquire/improve communication skills in connection with the media
- Acquire knowledge about the French and French-speaking particularities within the media domain.

Program
1 - Introduction to the French/French-speaking media (press, radio, television, internet, advertising and marketing)
2 - Introduction to the language of the French and French-speaking media (textes de presse, illustrations de presse, types de radio types de discours, types de télévision et types de discours, s'informer sur la toile,les logos et les marque)
3 - Media vocabulary
4 - Grammar

Evaluation Methodology
Ongoinmg assessment:
- Tasks inside and outside the classroom: 10%
- Research work: 25%
- Written test at the end of semester: 65%
Final assessment:
Written exam: 100%
